If you have been ordered by the court to pay more than you can afford you can apply for an amendment on the judgement. This is done through the N245 form.
If your circumstances change whilst paying a county court judgement (CCJ), you can ask the court to look at your present financial position by filling in the N245.
There is a £30.00 fee to have the court review your circumstances and payments by cheque must clear before the case is reviewed.
If a bailiff is enforcing a CCJ (outstanding debt) you can apply to the County Court by filling in the N245 – Application to Suspend Warrant form. You can also request a copy of this form from your local County Court. If the bailiff is collecting for other debts you must contact the creditors envolved and ask them to withdraw the bailiff and make them an offer of payment.
